From wilderness to luxury!
We started off in the rugged Skycroft country west of
Chaffeys Lock, and ended up in the bar of the Opinicon Lodge for a welcome soup
and beer. What more could a hiker want?
Along the way, we enjoyed a pleasant stroll down the
old railway line that is now the Cataraqui Trail, travelling on a couple of the
many intriguing Rideau Trail blue side trails.
Ten hikers and just short of ten kilometres of trail. And ten out of ten for the choice of our
final destination.
